This May Bank Holiday, The Half Moon Summer Sessions arrive in Kirdford with a full week of terrace parties, live music, alfresco dining and indulgent feasting. As Goodwood season begins across Sussex, expect bold food, flowing drinks, sunset sounds and laid-back countryside energy throughout the long weekend.

  • Wednesday 20th May | Tacos & Tunes | From 5pm | Terrace takeover by the brilliant Tacolookatmenow team.
  • Friday 22nd May | Café Mambo Terrace Sessions | Plus dishes to match

  • Sunday 24th May | Super Sunday
    Alfresco Sunday lunch, live DJ set from Charlotte Moss and the return of the Burger Truck.
  • Bank Holiday Monday 25th May | Pig in the Sticks
    Whole roasted suckling pig, pâté en croûte and indulgent countryside feasting.

Summer arrives — and we’re turning up the volume.

As Goodwood season rolls back into Sussex, we throw open the terrace for five days of bold food, sunset sounds, flowing drinks and long afternoons in the garden.

From tacos and terrace sessions to alfresco Sundays, DJs, fire-led feasting and our biggest Bank Holiday party yet, The Half Moon Summer Sessions celebrates everything we love about the season — relaxed hospitality, unforgettable atmosphere and serious food in the Sussex countryside.
