The Kitchen

Half Moon guests can expect flavour and quality to be at the centre of everything our Head Chef serves, with quality British produce enhanced by global flavours inspired by Jodie’s travels.

Our Head Chef, Johnny Stanford

Johnny Stanford is an exciting young chef with over 12 years’ experience in Michelin starred kitchens.

Utterly historic…. The only pudding I’ve eaten in my life that I’d want to eat again”. Giles Coren

Moving to West Sussex with his young family to take the reigns at The Half Moon, Johnny brings his unique style of marrying modern and classic techniques with clean uncomplicated flavour, using the best available British produce.
